October 16th - Meeting

Our latest PACrat meeting was awesome!  Just in the nick of time, I finally found a place to hold the meeting, thanks to my good friend Jay, who offered his office to us for free!  I had the date set and no where for us to go! We were almost going to have to hold the meeting in a parking lot with crates as seats!  So for now my friends - our PACRat meetings are set.  That is until we outgrow 50 people.... which by the looks of it could very well be next month...

First let me start by THANKING - the original southern gentleman - Mr. Pete Mendenhall our VIP from NARS who came to be our "trainer" for the evening.  This guy is a pistol!  Wow - what a freaking smarty he is.... and he is as cute as they come too... with all his southern charm... (Stop blushing Petey!) Seriously though, We are so lucky to be in Los Angeles folks... every other PACRat(tm) group in the country does not have the luck of having someone from NARS attend their meetings to train and coach them...!

So - the meeting last week was incredibly informative... wow - I can't believe I had the wrong information about how to handle a short sale!  Not just regarding putting it in a trust - but in GENERAL!  I did not know that you could short sale a 2nd and then simply bring the 1st current and keep the loan in place.  For some reason - I thought that once you shorted the 2nd or 3rd... you have to cash the whole house out with a new loan.  This is great news for us!  All these over-encumbered houses with 2nd's and 3rd's still have a fighting chance!  Well - thank goodness I now know.... too bad I passed on several houses this past month because the payments were too high to do anything with!  Oh well....

One last thing.... I can kick myself for not taking photos of the meeting.  There were thirty of us there and it was so great.... I can't believe I forgot to take pictures to post on the blog.... DAG Nabit! Whatta schmo. 

Next meeting will be scheduled for November....  I will post it the minute I solidify the date!

PACRATS L.A. - NARS LandTrust Networking Group - AUG 07

This is a networking group for folks using the NARS - PAC and NEHT Trust System. We meet once a month for a Mastermind and Networking Meeting.

This is an opportunity for us to share information, ask questions about structuring deals, and to recieve additional training from a NARS PAC/NEHT Trust expert - usually someone directly from NARS!

This months Meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 16th at 6:30pm.
